My job included adding drywall to cover an old recessed lighting cavity, repairing another large hole in the wall, and also providing additional services in wiring new can lights and painting the bathroom. The next day, I called to ask a few questions which he answered, so I gave him the job. He called a day before our project was to start saying his one of his other projects was held up, could he send the guys a day early. His guys came out removed the old insulation, then installed the new insulation. Then they hung all the drywall on the walls and ceiling as required. They did a great job. The next day the tape and mud guys came out and finished it up. All done, just what I wanted. I really liked working with a true professional, in Ken and his crew. I chose Caliber Drywall based on the excellent reviews. I also look at number of reviews. The price was very good. Ken said it would be a 2 day project. I asked him to confirm it would be consecutive days and told him it would have to be on a Monday and Tuesday. Monday morning they showed up at 7AM (they confirmed that time would be ok) and completed the job in two days as promised. They did an excellent job and even painted everything. I had some patch work that needed to be done through the house from electrical work I had done. They patched and painted those areas too. If you are looking for any type of drywall work, you most definitely need to checkout Caliber. You won't be disappointed.

Comments: We recently framed in our loft to have an extra bedroom in the house. My father and I framed it, and installed the drywall. A week ago I called Ken with Caliber Drywall and asked if he was interested in doing the tape, mud and texture. It's now one week later, and the job is done. Today, Ken, Jimmy, and four more guys came over. They finished the job in six hours. Wow. Jimmy and the crew were amazing. They went above and beyond, by teaching me some of the tricks of the trade, fixing a couple nicks in walls not related to the job, and dealing with my three crazy kids running around the house as they were trying to work. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They put down plastic all over the carpet, the tile floors, even the garage floor, so they wouldn't leave a trace of debris when they left. Sometimes you hire a crew and they look a little sketchy when they come over. I would've had no problem leaving these guys in the house alone. They were so friendly and professional, my five year old son asked if he could go to lunch with them when they took a break. Really can't say enough about Ken and his crew. Great value, top notch work, and absolutely professional service.

On appointment day, Ken was running a bit late and he called ahead of time to let me know. When he arrived, he was very prompt, answered my questions and went about measuring the area for my quote. Ken was very good with working with my limited schedule and he even scheduled the work around my time line. Due to the high ceiling, I had asked if his crew could paint the room for me, the additional quote was very accommodating. Comments: If you want a contractor who does what he promises, keeps you informed about timing of the work and completes the job when he says he will, Caliber Drywall is the contractor for you. Ken worked with me primarily via email after a preliminary onsite estimate. (We had drywall damage after a water pipe sprung a leak in a wall.) After the consultation, it was a matter of coming up with a date and, as always, adding a few things. In our case, we had a lot of wallpaper that needed to be removed and walls to be textured. We then decided to have him take the acoustical ceiling (popcorn) off while the room was clear of furniture. His crew showed up as promised, worked very cleanly and at the end of each night tidied up before they went home. I would recommend Ken and Caliber Drywall without hesitation. In fact, we now have a bid for him to replace the fluorescent lights in the kitchen with inset cans.
